In particular:

School IMT Advanced Studies Lucca, is a doctorate school and a research institute integrated in the italian public university system. Main topic of study is the analysis of economics, social, technological and cultural systems, These three areas are developed in diferrent and multidisciplinary Research units

Scuola Normale Superiore Pisa, is organized in Centers, Resaerch Groups and Laboratories, belonging to the three areas of Human Sciences Class, Natural and Mathematical Sciences Class and the Institute of Social and Human Sciences. These are research facilities aimed at hosting Italian and foreign researchers, with the idea of ​​stimulating collaboration and the exchange of ideas and of producing high skilled researchers even in interdisciplinary fields and with a strong internationalization vocation.

Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna Pisa, has the aim of experimenting innovative paths in research and training in the field of applied sciences: Economics and managerial sciences, Law, Political Science, Agricultural sciences and plant biotechnology, Medical Sciences and Industrial and Industrial Engineering 'Information.
